10 year old 16.3 TB mare for Sale
Jazz is a lovely sound and seasoned hunt horse that truly LOVES hunting and knows her job. She is best suited for a first/second flight or staff horse and is forward and fit, but rates well at stops. She is smart and surefooted and is a most trustworthy mount in any footing in the field. Crosses water, up/down banks and drops and gallops with the best of them. She has been used on hacks as a babysitter for upper level event horses and is fabulous on trails/trot sets and gallops on the training track. Has also hunter paced extensively and been on a point to point relay team. Also quite talented on the flat and has dressage training, but can be exuberant in a ring. Great in company or alone, and with dogs/hounds. Needs a confident rider as she is smart, independent and can be strong at times. Has only front shoes now, fabulous feet, and was hunted two seasons barefoot in Georgia.
Only for sale as I am looking for an upper level event horse and she HATES jumping in an arena- which is 1/3 of the competition sadly. I know her history since she came off the track and can provide contacts for her previous owner and vet/farrier records.
