Silver's Destiny is being offered for sale by her owner/rider/trainer. She's a 9yr old Welsh/TB mare, who stands approximately 13.2hh. She's competed Intro - First and can be seen at VADACC's Schooling Show on June 2 at Saddlebrook Stables in Powhatan,VA competing in the Intro. Prix Caprilli, Training 1 & 2, and First 1; Virginia Summer Dressage in Culpeper, VA on June 16 competing in Training 1, 2, and 3; PVDA's Ride for Life in Upper Marlboro, MD on June 23 & 24 competing in Training 1, 2, & 3 and First 1.
She has NUMEROUS awards and achievements under her belt, including 2011 VADACC Champion in the Intro, Schooling, Senior Division and 2011 VADA (State) Reserve Champion in the Intro Senior division (her year-end Intro average was WELL into the 70s); and she's won many champions and reserve champions at local schooling shows. Her Intro scores were consistently in the 70s with her highest being a 78.75% (yes, you read that right..she almost hit 80%)! Her training scores are consistently in the upper 60s and low 70s, and she received a 69.8% on her first Training test (Training 3) and a 63.8% on her first First level test (First 1).
Destiny has a LOVELY forward floaty trot.. She is a quick-learner and is super sweet and affectionate. She's a RIDICULOUSLY easy keeper - right now she is on pasture board, receives only a handful of grain a day, and has been barefoot as long as I have owned her. As an added bonus, she's being kept at the barn belonging to her previous owner who has owned her since she was a baby at her mother's side and current owner has known her this entire time, so her life history is VERY well known!
Destiny would be the perfect dressage pony for a junior or young rider or even a petite adult amateur and has the potential to move up the levels quite nicely. She also has some talent for jumping and has done a bit of cross country in the past, so she could make a wonderful event pony for the right person, and she has been used for riding lessons and summer "pony camps" in the past.
Destiny has a super sweet and affectionate personality and is a safe, sane little mare. She LOVES attention! Destiny is lifetime registered with both USDF and USEF.
