I have a pure bred black copper maran male for sale. He was from a hatch for a customer but they could not take a rooster. He comes from a great blood line and this breed lays the darkest eggs. He would be a good project bird or a nice boy to breed with other hens to try to get the dark chocolate eggs. He is 4 months old now and still needs a lot of growing. He is not crowing yet.
