The East Coast Stock Horse Association (ECSHA) is pleased to announce its 4th Annual Show Series, featuring five events in Reva, Virginia showcasing East Coast stock horses of all breeds and their riders. Contestants qualify for year-end awards by competing in any three 2017 ECSHA shows. In 2016, we gave away over $10,000 in cash and awards!
The East Coast Stock Horse Association is an outreach organization of Horsemen's International Ministry. The ECSHA offers a family friendly, affordable, fun environment to promote the versatility of the stock horse and is open to ALL horse breeds.
Our signature events include the stock horse classes, which entail reining patterns and individual cow work. You may also be interested in the ranch versatility classes, which entail ranch riding, ranch cutting, reining, roping, and trail. You can enter any one – or do all of them to be eligible for the ranch versatility award at year end. Or try your hand at the exciting jackpot Cattle Drive class, with $100 added money, in which teams of two riders maneuver two cows thru an obstacle course. There is also a $100 Jackpot Open Ranch Rail Pleasure class. ECSHA offers Open, Amateur, and Youth classes at every show.
Thanks to a grant from the Virginia Horse Industry Board, we are proud to announce the ECSHA VA Bred Program. If you have a horse foaled in VA, we have special payback classes in each show!
Shows will also include AQHA Special Events consisting of Ranch Riding and Reining classes.
May 6 & 7 Ranch Horse Gathering
June 3 & 4 Cowboy Showcase
July 1 & 2 Summer Shootout
September 2 & 3 Fall Roundup
October 7 & 8 Double Barrel Showdown
