The UVA Polo Teams upcoming seasons appear promising. Both the men's and women's polo teams from the University of Virginia brought home gold and National Championship medals during the 2022 season after an arduous yet gratifying academic year. Both teams put in a lot of effort to win both games. The University of Virginia women's team defeated the University of Kentucky in the U.S. Polo Association National Intercollegiate Championship match by playing well. They collaborated perfectly, scoring goal after goal for a commanding 17-9 victory.

Following the women's victory, the UVA men's polo team defeated the University of North Texas in their own championship game. Intense and evenly matched during the first half of the fast-paced match, UVA took the lead in the fourth "chukker," or session, of polo.
