At the November 21 junior meet at the Old Dominion Hounds, several of the young riders perched on a meticulously restored stone wall at hosting High Meadow Farm near Flint Hill to watch as ODH huntsman Gerald Keal called in the hounds. Nearly 40 junior riders took part in the special hunt, with juniors invited to ride as "apprentice" huntsman, whippers-in and field masters. ODH master Douglas Wise said that the junior meets are a great way to encourage participation by young riders in the sport of foxhunting.
