Horse Evacuation information for Wildfire Areas

The Virginia Horse Council, working with local farms and individuals, has compiled a list of farms and equestrians who are willing to provide stalls, paddocks, and pastures as well as trailering for anyone needing to evacuate horses from the areas affected by the wildfires in Virginia. Please contact laura@virginiahorsecouncil or call 540-292-1654 for this list of information if you feel you may need to evacuate horses due to smoke or fire issues.
