We currently have openings for up to three horses to join us at our scenic farm, minutes from downtown Lexington, Virginia. We are located ten minutes from the VA Horse Center, ten minutes from 81 and conveniently close to Rockbridge Hunt country.

Our horses are fed grain twice a day and given free choice grass hay or alfalfa while in stalls, which are mucked out daily. We alternate between night and day turnout, depending on the weather, and offer a level, fenced area to ride in with a bluestone base, jumps and poles. Possible trailer parking, plenty of space in the tack room, and a dry lot is available too! The barn is airy, clean, and features 12X12 stalls with mats, shavings, two or more water buckets, corner feeders and a big window.

Outside trainers are welcome, and my coach comes by about twice a week to give dressage and eventing lessons. My farrier is in the area at least once a week (although you are welcome to use a different farrier).

The owner/operator (me!) lives on-site and has 25 years of experience. If you enjoy relaxing with your horses in a quiet, private atmosphere, without the hustle and bustle of a busy lesson barn, then you might be a great fit! We maintain a warm, supportive environment, with an emphasis on horse happiness and health, and rider safety and enjoyment. Helmets are required at all times when mounted.

This is an excellent retirement setup, and rehabilitation packages are available also. Possibility for the right person to do chores in exchange for board. Full-care prices start at $550. Please contact for more photos and details!
