TRAIL HORSES & PONIES offered for 1/2 lease in Philomont/Purcellville at Tsaheylu farm
TEDDY- 16.2h Belgium/Tb gelding~ handsome, nicely forward, honest, and brave on trail. Goes out alone. Needs an intermediate rider with confidence. Sensitive personality. No bolt, buck, rear, or bad behavior. WTC in ring, no jumping
FINN-15.1h QH gelding- gorgeous, nicely forward and brave on trail. Goes out alone. Needs an intermediate rider. Prefers a gentle rider. No bolt, buck, rear, or bad behavior. Very "fast" in ring WTC & jump. Possible pony club mount too.
APACHE-12.2h welsh mare- brave, and goes out alone. Must have a gentle rider- she is tired of kick/pull riders and shuts off. Needs an intermediate rider. Occasional small spook or buck while cantering. WTC & jump. Possible pony club mount.
FRECKLES- 13.1h POA mare- great follower, steady on trail when out with another horse. No bolt, rear. She sometimes shakes or kicks out when frustrated. Can be ridden by an adv beginner along with another good horse. WTC , jumps well but is already jumped enough throughout the week. Prefer a non jumping lease.
EVIE- 10h welsh X mare- steady, kind, will go out alone. No buck, rear, bolt on trail. Occasional small spooks. Can be ridden by an adv beginner. (Could also be leased for pony club!) wt & jump and a little canter if you don't mind a little buck in ring.
1/2 lease is $550/m with a 4 month commitment (thru July)
$700 per if you prefer commuting only month to month.
First month is a trial month, either party can terminate if the horse& rider isn't working out.
3 rides per week ( rides must be used that week) includes 2-30min lessons per month.
