SPIRIT Open Equestrian Program- Seeking weekend farm help

SPIRIT Open Equestrian Program is a non-profit therapeutic riding program looking for a part-time weekend farm manager. We have 14 horses in our herd, all very easy going and safe to work around.

Shifts needed are Saturday evening, and Sunday morning & evening.
About 2 hours of work each shift. Can increase responsibilities if more hours are desired. Preference to a candidate that can commit to multiple shifts. Pay dependent on experience, starting at $15 an hour.

Location: Herndon, VA

Responsibilities include:
Feeding
Blanket changes (as needed)
Mucking stalls
Light grooming
General cleaning

Applicant requirements:
Must be 18+
Must have horse experience and references
Must be reliable
Dependable transportation
Must be self-motivated and work independently
Ability to drive a tractor, help with farm maintenance and make repairs is a bonus!
