Trainer Lisa DesRosiers is a USDF Gold, silver and bronze medalist, and USDF L graduate with Distinction. With 50 years of experience in horse care and training Lisa has a broad background of education to draw from. A combination of horsemanship and classical dressage form the basic foundation for all disciplines. Her well-rounded lifetime of education in all things equine bring a different perspective to the art of dressage. While dressage is her primary focus, Lisa uses many years of experience in all areas. She combines the understanding of how horses think and how the dynamics of prey/herd animal behavior play into your experience as a rider or owner. The result is a trusting relationship with clear understanding of both horse and rider. A true partnership. Lisa has a passion for working with both horse and rider to help create a connection and confidence that can carry forward into any discipline. Training is tailored to your horses' specific needs. Lisa works out of her private facility in Boyce VA where she also breeds and raises high quality warmbloods horses. Training board available. Our barn is newly built in 2022, and has 9 stalls, hot/cold water wash stall, Climate controlled tack room, Heated restroom and laundry access. Trails right out the door and a lovely outdoor arena with all season footing. We treat every horse like our own. |
