How It Works:
Reserve Your Share: Secure your share with a $100 deposit.
Processing: We'll process your pig on our next available date. (Early 2025)
Weigh and Price: The final price will be determined by the hanging weight (approximately 80-130 lbs) and the current market rate ($4.50/lb).
Butcher Costs: You'll pay the butcher directly for cutting and packaging.
Note: Hanging weight is typically 60% of the live weight. Our estimate is around 100 lbs hanging weight. Approximately 20% of this is bone, leaving the remainder as muscle and fat.
Share Options:
Half Hog: Approximately $225-$300 (plus butcher costs)
Whole Hog: Approximately $475-$600 (plus butcher costs)
