Physical Therapy for Riders and Their Horses Clinic
March 23 and 24 or by appointment
Get a jump start on getting you and your horse properly aligned, moving well, and strong for the spring show season!
We will start indoors with a Physical Therapy Evaluation and Treatment for the rider; then proceed directly to working with you while you are on your horse so you can incorporate the concepts learned from your PT and put them directly into your riding. This generally takes 3 hours of 1:1 time. Can also do a rehabilitation assessment on your horse to see where your horse is asymmetric, and how the rider's physical issues can influence the horse's physical issues, as well as how the horse's physical issues can influence the rider's physical issues.
Course will be held at Optimus Farm in Bluemont, VA and is given by a Physical Therapist with 28 years of experience in the field, and 42 years of experience with horses. Course can be brought to you
as well if there are at least three horse and rider combinations at the same facility who want to participate. Rain date may be possible if heavy rain occurs.
***If you have health insurance which offers out of network benefits, I can write you a bill for the services you received (not your horse's services) and you should be reimbursed roughly 70-100% of the costs billed, based on your insurance provider. This is the only equestrian clinic which offers the ability for the participant to be reimbursed***
