Looking for a horse that can jump the meters, but also pack around a 10 year old? Meet Cahsmere, JC Independent Lass. A 12 year old 16.1 big bodied mare, Cashmere has spent the last two years of her life showing (very) competitively in the jumpers. She goes straight from trailer to ring and has a winning record a mile long (Usef # 5670868). Never needs to see the jumps and adjusts to what the rider wants. Point and shoot to the fence, and so well broke on the flat.
Owner selling as she wants to pursue a 1.20+ horse and cashmere is really happy at a meter and below. Recently cashmere has been loving her life as a lesson horse - taking around everyone from my pre short riders to a variety of adults. She happily lopes up to a fence on a loopy rein and will always jump from the base. Is she your learn to canter horse? Probably not. Would she do anything bad? Absolutely not. The mare aims to please every time she comes out.
Owner has always shown her jumpers, but with how much she's been loving the slower life cashmere will be taken to hunter shows until she sells.
