"Kitty" is a fancy, pint-sized "hony" that comes from excellent connections- she was started and brought along by the same owner/trainer since she was a yearling, and is the barn favorite, with her sweet, in-your-pocket personality.
This mare is impeccably put together, and looks like a German Riding Pony rather than a Thoroughbred, with her chunky, uphill stature, and beautiful natural topline.
She is an extremely floaty mover- as in literally a "10" hack winner, with a lovely, soft mouth, and moves nicely off the leg. She hacks out quietly on a loopy rein, and is just generally the type that wants to please her rider. She is currently trotting and cantering small verticals, and has the most adorable "knees-to-nose" jump, which she does in the most relaxed manner, loping quietly away on the backside.
Kitty has perfect, clean legs, excellent feet (only shod up front), and zero vices. She turns out with others, and is a very easy keeper.
With her exceptional movement, I could see her being a hunter for a child or small adult in a professional program, or a dressage pony, but could easily step into an eventing job as well, with her bravery and honesty to the fences. Either way, this is one that will be the winner in any discipline.
