Bird is a 16H 13-year-old OTTB that is amateur friendly and the perfect horse for advanced beginners ready to move up from schooling horses. He has 3 solid and comfortable gaits and can jump quite well but I prefer him only jumping low level(under2'6") in lessons for health maintenance reasons. He is sound, quiet, and very sweet to hang around. He is quite a unique horse in a way that he tolerates a lot from his rider and won't react to your frustration, but he also does a great job when you ride well, and this trait alone taught me how to ride gently but with intention.

He hacks out alone or with companions and LOVES playing in the water. The facility he boards at has thousands of acres to hack out on, as well as a shallow river right behind the barn that you're welcome to ride in/across.

Bird and I did a little bit of eventing and he has some xc training under his belt although he might be rusty, but he is an all around good boy that tries very hard to do his best. I'm switching discipline and simply don't have much time for him these days so I'm hoping to find someone that can benefit from this situation. I'm open to either an on-site full lease or half lease for the care expenses(full-$1400, half-$800) with a trial. Also weekly lessons required with instructor who is an advanced level eventer.
