14 year old Appendix gelding available for on site half lease in Madison, VA. Originally broken as a western horse with some experience with cattle, at 7 years old Jack switched to English tack & has become an amazing all-around horse. Excellent ground manners, willing, smart, safe, no vices. Jack is straight forward at the walk, trot, canter, and will still neck rein on a loose rein at the walk. Jack would be a great match for someone wanting to gain more time in the saddle on the flat, who enjoys hacks around the farm, or for an intermediate rider looking for a fun horse to do pole work and/or small courses with (dependent upon experience). Jack has been out on trail rides, hunter paces, and participated in two 'fun' schooling shows at previous barns.
Facility has indoor and outdoor arena, grass field, and a trail around perimeter of farm.
