Job description
We're looking to grow our team and hire a hunter jumper instructor to join Sweet Acres Farm on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon/evenings. Starting with a few hours each night. We have lesson facility with indoor/outdoor arena and trails. This is a great opportunity for a horseback riding instructor who wants to build with us from the ground up and be part of a fun, structured, and supportive riding program.
Experience with Pony Club, 4-H, or horse showing is a plus! Must have experience working with children and a passion for helping young riders gain confidence and skills. Looking for someone dedicated, patient, and excited to grow alongside our business.

Responsibilities
Instruct and train students in hunt seat riding and on the horsemanship techniques, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Follow and enhance existing lesson plans tailored to individual skill levels, particularly focusing on children.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their riding abilities.
Organize and oversee unmounted and mounted lessons and potential competitions, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Observe and make recommendations the health and well-being of horses, ensuring they are properly cared for and prepared for training.
Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and expectations.
