(Hunter Jumper, Foxhunter, All Around Prospect) Sound, Flashy, and Safe
Buddy is a big-bodied 16.2h Thoroughbred Gelding. He was never raced, and we've owned him since he was 4. We are forced to rehome as we have too many horses. Buddy has a very sweet personality and wants to please, no biting/kicking, or any naughty behavior. This gelding has an uncomplicated and willing demeanor. He trails rides out with cattle and crosses all types of creeks and deep ditches. He's a very nice mover with a big, floaty trot and a very comfortable canter. Buddy has jumped coops and lots of logs out on the trail. This gelding has been around dogs, chickens, sheep, and other farm animals. He lunges, clips, loads, and stands for the vet and farrier. Buddy has trailered away for trail rides and has even been in a festival. He schools in the ring or field with plenty of scope. He is traffic safe and rides in a snaffle. He's also been ridden by junior riders. He's sound and laid back. No buck, rear, or anything naughty. Buddy will only be sold to the best home, looking for an intermediate/experienced rider ( no beginners). He is ready for his new home and career. UTD Coggins.
