Are you looking for a versatile horse that is bombproof, flashy, and kid safe? Well, if you have, you have come to the right ad. Casey is a 15.2hh registered 9 year old Appaloosa mare, who as a young foal cumliated many halter points. She is registered with ApHA under the name KC Scores. She is a bay roan few spot appaloosa mare. She is not stubborn or marish, and she does not have any bad habits. She has been ridden by a 9 year old before.
Casey can jump 2'6 to 2'9 courses easily and walk/trot/canter on the flat brilliantly. I have videos of her jumping a course and hacking if you would like them. She is very push button and is a very nice mover and jumper. She has shown hunters/jumpers successfully, receiving a Reserve Champion at her last horse show and has won as well. She does her lead changes.
I have taken Casey to the mountains before, and we have camped in a temporary pen on the side of the mountain. She trailers well and has no vices. She stands for the farrier and the vet, and she also has very excellent ground manners. She is easy to lead, and she will stand still to bathe.
This horse is very brave and honest, didn't get to school over the jumps at the last horse show I took her to. She jumped them perfectly the first time when I rode my course. She has a very large build, so she does not require a small rider. Her current rider is 5'11 and marginally too large for her though, so that is our reason for selling her for such a reasonable price. Email is the best way to contact me.
