20/20 Horsemanship is a new equestrian school in the heart of Leesburg. We offer instruction & coaching on our well trained and friendly school horses. No requirement to lease or board!
Loretta teaches kids 5 and up, from beginners that have never been on a horse through the advanced concepts of the training scale. Horsemanship skills are an important aspect of all lessons. Loretta is an A.R.I.A. Certified instructor and has a background in natural Horsemanship, trail riding, JPRs, limited distance rides and pony jumpers. She believes that while having fun out on a trail, even those that 'only trail ride' should still ride properly and understand how their body effects the horse. She incorporates fun and interesting elements of natural horsemanship & obstacles into all of the lessons. Children have lesson plans with items to complete before moving up a level, (think pony club) at which time they are awarded a different colored helmet cover. (Think martial arts.) Loretta has proudly earned her 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. If your child participates in martial arts, please be sure to tell us. It helps with the curriculum.
