We are excited to introduce Magnolia Ridge Stables to the Berryville VA area!
Magnolia Ridge Stables is situated directly across the street from 5* Eventer Tim Bourke and down the street from 5* Athletes Sharon White & Woods Baughman. Less than a 15 minute drive from Hunt Club and CDCTA Horse Trials. We are a 12 stall barn at 1360 Summit Point Rd Berryville VA 22611 and will start accepting boarders on December 1st!
Stall and field board include turn out pastures on 50+ acres. Amenities include 2 wash stalls (one with heat lamps), tack room, feed room, and lots of ride out space for hacking and working outside of the arena. One of the front fields is being converted into a small XC field for schooling.
Training services will be rendered by 4* Eventer Cindy Anderson-Blank, who also owns and operates Monarch Eventing. Cindy focuses on development of horses and riders from beginning stages to advanced level. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Equine Exercise Physiology from Oregon State University and is an ICP Level III certified instructor. She has over 20 years of experience training and competing horses and spent 10 years as the competition rider for Windchase Eventing. Cindy has numerous finishes at the Advanced level of Eventing and has earned top placing throughout the upper levels.
In addition to customized training options offered by Cindy, we will also offer clinics with wonderful trainers such as:
Woods Baughman: Up and coming rider in US Eventing, recently making his 5* debut this spring and competing in the Maryland CCI 5*-L. Having claimed the 3* National Title in 2019 followed by the 4* Title in 2021 he is quickly marking his path forward. Now assistant trainer to long time coach and mentor Sharon White.
Martin Douzant: owner and operator of Frame Sport Horses in The Plains, VA discovered his remarkable ability to identify talent in young horses before they began training and to develop their natural talent through patience and consistency. Specializing in young horse development, Martin Douzant brings distinctive abilities and expertise to training horses, from those just starting out to the highest levels of competition across the sport horse disciplines - dressage, show jumping, eventing and more.
Allie Sowden: of Riverside Sport Horses has been riding since the age of 4. Her passion and love for horses has stayed strong throughout her whole life and has brought her years of experience in many different areas of the equine industry. Allie has spent the last 5 years competing in the sport of Eventing and has gone up to the Modified level. Her focus is on what is best for the horse and understands each horse is an individual. Not every horse fits into the same box and Allie has the ability to understand and help each horse and their owner work through their own personalized development.
